Can the Santa Clara County Assessor exempt seniors from paying property taxes?

No. This would first require a change in state law.

Which candidate has the qualifications required to be a California Assessor?

She currently serves as the Assistant Assessor, has worked as a Special Assistant to the Assessor and as an attorney for the office.
